Spinning? On silks? Yes, indeed. In this workshop, we will explore the techniques behind building a spin, spin maintenance, and control on this vertical apparatus. Drake will share some of their favorite sequences to spin to and then we will explore a play with spin speeds, shape variation and how to smoothly manage your fabric while flying. We will also go over dizziness and taking care of your mind and body before, during and after your spinning session. This workshop is playful and has lots of opportunity for guided and spotted experimentation. 

Prerequisites: Must be able to comfortably climb aerial fabric and get into a hip key/lock in the air. Must be able to invert from the ground.
