Yoga Nidra, known as the yoga of sleep, is perfect for those seeking stress reduction and relaxation. It’s a guided meditation that moves through the Panchamaya Kosha system. Yoga Nidra works to acknowledge wholeness by allowing the nervous system to rest to promote healing. 

Attendees will first be guided through a short gentle asana practice, to ground into the physical body using breath. Then students will be guided into a scripted yoga nidra meditation, encouraging awareness of the body and breath. This gentle trauma-informed practice will involve progressive muscle relaxation (PMR), and body, breath, and sensation awareness to build towards total relaxation.

Students will be guided to settle into a relaxed state of mind. Training the brain to shift out of high beta brainwaves and into theta and delta brainwaves; decreases stress and anxiety, improves heart rate variability (a measure of the health of your nervous system function), and improves overall well-being. 

No experience is necessary. 

Please pre-register. If no one is registered, our teacher will not be present.
